The use of the sensor-based support CPR Guide affects the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation compressions performed by firefighters, as the overall outcome and the number of compressions at the correct rate significantly improved. By making sensor-based tools available to both firefighters and the public, it can potentially contribute to a sense of increased competence and confidence and thus hopefully also encourage more people to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergencies where medical personnel are not present.
